1. Company details
TJW Direct Logistics. Company number: [COMPANY NUMBER]. Registered address: [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
2. Website information
The website provides general information about our services. A booking only becomes binding when the collection, delivery, price and relevant instructions have been confirmed by TJW Direct Logistics.
3. Collection targets
The stated 30–60 minute collection period is a target, not an absolute guarantee. The confirmed time depends on driver availability, location, traffic, weather, access restrictions and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
4. Customer responsibilities
The customer must provide accurate addresses, contact details, dimensions, weight, contents, handling requirements and delivery deadlines. Goods must be correctly packaged, labelled, legal to carry and suitable for the agreed vehicle.
5. Restricted and dangerous goods
Dangerous, prohibited, controlled, high-value or unusual goods must be declared before booking. We may decline any consignment that cannot be transported lawfully, safely or within the terms of our insurance.
6. Airside and customs services
Unless specifically agreed in writing, the service does not include airside access or customs clearance. The customer is responsible for arranging an authorised airport handover point and any necessary customs formalities.
7. Delays and access
We are not responsible for delay caused by inaccurate information, inaccessible sites, waiting for contacts, security checks, customs procedures, road closures, severe traffic, weather or other events outside our reasonable control.
8. Charges
Charges are confirmed before dispatch where reasonably possible. Additional waiting time, route changes, failed collections, failed deliveries, tolls, parking or customer-requested changes may incur further charges where agreed.
9. Liability and insurance
Liability, claims procedures and goods-in-transit cover must be governed by the full trading terms issued with each booking. Customers should declare any special value or insurance requirement before the job is accepted.
10. Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.
